I write features, interviews and reviews; telling stories of how albums have come into being, always finding the unusual angle that helps to bring to life what makes the music and the people behind it so special.
I’ve written about everything from the future of immersive festivals and the politics of the festival poster, through to how music can help ease grief. I’ve interviewed musicians from Kano, Caribou and Cat Power, through to Stephen Malkmus, Jenny Lewis and The National. I’ve travelled to festivals around the world and reviewed a lot of amazing (and some really terrible) albums, singles and shows.
